1. About us
These terms apply to doula services booked with, and products bought from, Beelieve Birthing. Beelieve Birthing is a trading name of Fulcrum Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 11090618), registered office 5 Brayford Square, London E1 0SG. Contact: info@fg-uk.com. By booking a service or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
2. Our doula services
- A doula offers non-clinical emotional, physical and practical support. We do not provide medical or clinical care, diagnosis or advice, and our support does not replace care from your midwife, GP, obstetrician or health visitor. Please always follow the advice of your healthcare professionals.
- The services, durations and prices are those shown on our Services and Book an Appointment pages at the time you book.
- For on-call birth support, the on-call period is 2 weeks before and 1 week after your due date. If you go into labour outside this period, we will do our best to support you, but we cannot guarantee attendance.
- If we cannot attend because of illness, an emergency or circumstances beyond our control, we will tell you as soon as possible and offer a fair refund for any support not provided.
- Please tell us about anything relevant to your safety or the support you’d like, and keep us informed about changes to your plans.
3. Bookings and payment
- A booking is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email.
- Flexible payment plans are available for packages. Any payment plan we agree with you will be confirmed in writing, including the amounts and due dates.
- Packages should be paid in full before the start of the on-call period unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Our prices are shown in pounds sterling.
4. Cancellations and refunds
Please see our Refunds & Cancellations Policy, which forms part of these terms.
5. Shop orders
When you buy products from our shop, these terms apply together with The Legal Bits When Purchasing Bundles with Us, which covers product safety, substitutions, delivery and returns in more detail. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. If a product is unavailable, we will let you know and refund you or offer an equivalent alternative.
6. Our liability
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for clinical decisions or care provided by healthcare professionals. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
7. Your information
We use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Complaints and governing law
If you’re unhappy with anything, please email info@fg-uk.com and we will do our best to put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
